After dedicating over two decades to military service, including handling sensitive information for over 10 years, Melvin brought his keen attention to detail, steadfast work ethic, and passion for helping others to his post-Army career in tax preparation.

Having provided tax prep assistance to fellow service members since 2012, he expanded his tax services for civilians once transitioning to civilian life. What began as informally filing returns for friends in the armed forces has now become over a decade of tax preparation experience. Melvin pursues continuing education annually to remain up-to-date on the latest IRS rules and best leverage his knowledge to minimize his clients’ tax obligations. His time management and information security skills honed in the military help Melvin efficiently handle paperwork and protect sensitive financial data.
